Does anyone know about Albert Einstein Medical Center???

I fairly still new to the Philly area and I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about Albert Einstein Medical Center on Old York Road..... I am being seen there right now for prenatal care but skeptical if I should deliver there or whether I should deliver at HUP I have heard good things about HUP, though it is kind far ....I basically want to know if thats a good choice to deliver...thanks in advance for your answers

    I can only speak to the Victor Center, which does Jewish genetic testing.  They were amazing.  One of three in the country.

    If you have a choice, go with HUP.  Better hospital, better NICU (just in case).  Pennsylvania Hospital is good too. 

    I`m not sure where you life now, but the Main Line Heath system is also pretty good. That includes a number of different hospitals.

    I just had to have emergency surgery at Einstein on Christmas after losing a lot of blood during my miscarriage. The doctors were very good. The Lord provided me with who I needed at the time. I don't know too much else, but I received good care from the OB/Gyn staff, and the maternity nurses.

    They are my primary care provider, but I had the same feelings about whether or not I should have my prenatal and delivery there.  I decided to go with HUP, and my husband and I are really happy about our decision.  For certain things, Einstein is the best (certain genetic testing), but HUP is in a prime location in case of an emergency.  It's next to CHOP and it is one of the best hospitals in the nation.  :)

    well i decided to stay with them since i am almost there, 6 days to go ! lol but so far i have no problem with them I took a tour of the l&d floor and it was really nice! Nurses are really nice too.
