newbie temp question...again, sorry!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry, don't know what happened before, TB freaked out on me.

Anyway, I've been lurking here for a few weeks now as DH and I are TTC. This is the first month I've charted because we were just going to "see what happens". But I've been checking my BBT every morning and before AF showed, it was 97.1, the day after it jumped to 97.6 and then today 98.6. I'm a little bit confused about what all this means? From what I've read, it stays pretty steady before O and then drops right before and jumps up after O, correct? Any insight would be appreciated.

 A little about myself: I'm Liz, DH is Matt and we've been married just over a year. He's in the Navy and actually getting ready to deploy so really this month will be our last chance for a few months. I'm kicking myself now for not doing this earlier but he was set on "not caring"...well now we care! ha! So I'm doing everything I can to improve my chances for this month. :)

    It would help if we could see your chart.  Can you post the link?

    Also, if the bump every freaks out on you like that again, you can always go back and edit the text of your posts, instead of having to post a new one.

    It would help if we could see your chart.  If your temps are jumping like that during your period that's totally normal.  They can also go all over the place the closer you get to your period coming.
