When I pumped at work that's the same kind of pump I used...luckily we have one of them in the staff pumping rooms on every unit, so I was able to use one the entire year that I pumped when at work. My home pump was the Medela Freestyle and the Symphony was much better and faster!

I'm using the Ameda Purely Yours. It's what I used with D for a year. Not sure how it compares with the PIS though.
I had a APY, and now have a PIS. I prefer the PIS. I liked the Ameda, but the Medela just works better IMO. Much more efficient, and I'm not exactly sure why. They seem to function similarly.

LOL, I was in the shower this morning when it occurred to me that I should have asked you about your pump. It's definitely worth it to use the hospital-grade. You should get much better results! Can't wait to hear.

Thanks, ladies! Gives me hope!
