Update from my T&P Request!

Ella had a rough Christmas and instead of waiting until after the holidays to be moved she was rushed to a bigger hospital on Sunday and Sophia got to go along for the ride. The girls did a lot better than their momma did. I hated them moving, I dont love the new hospital. I am a laid back person but they are very laid back there. A woman from church wondered thru the NICU and showed up at the girls bedsides without my permission. We were only allowed 6 visitors at the 1st hospital to see the girls until they left but everyone and their brother is allowed at the new one. I enjoy it because my aunts and cousins (who I am extremly close with) are able to finally meet them after 6 weeks but I am now realizing that I wouldnt mind to have them more protected. Ella had her cardiac cath and angioplasty yesterday. She is the smallest baby that Vanderbilt has done this on so I hope that it helps other moms out in the future that they now have experience doing it on a 2 lb 3 oz baby. It went better than expected, no stenting was required yesterday and the valve didnt have to replaced immediately. So this has either fixed the problem or has bought us more time until she gets bigger where the proceedure is safer. Thanks for the prayers and support! Lord knows I needed it!

Glad the surgery went well! Your girls will continue to be in my prayers. Our NICU was very much like you last one and I think I would be frustrated by what you are describing with your current NICU as well. I hope you are able to get things worked out there.
