Trying to Get Pregnant

I am never travelling again

ok, not really, but after a cancelled flight on Sunday (out of Boston, where it was a mess due to snow and wind) and trying to fly standby on four different flights yesterday, I am done!

It was great to see my family but I am SO happy to be home.

I left my BBT at home, and it was nice to not temp but now I am back on the train, so to speak.

I am having an HSG tomorrow, so well wishes would be appreciated (I am a little nervous).

Happy New Year and BFP's to you all!

  • Good luck tomorrow! I'm getting an HSG tomorrow as well.  My husband works at the hospital so he did some snooping and found out the doctor I'm getting is retiring at the end of the week.  He swears this is good because she is super experienced, but if I were retiring in 2 days I don't know how present my mind would be at work.

lots of IUIs and 1 IVF all BFNs

I think more experience is better. Good luck to you as well!

Question - did your MD prescribe antibiotics prior to the procedure? I had read it's common to do a few days of doxycycline prior to, but my NP's office said no.

  • You're back! Glad you made it safely hun. I thought about you with that nasty East Coast weather. Sounded pretty tough to be a traveler.

GL with your HSG. You'll be fine! Just remember the 4 Aleve an hour beforehand, deep breaths, and its over fairly quickly.

thank you! I am hoping it is normal, or if it's not, that it's good luck like it is for some and results in pregnancy soon after.

I hope you are feeling better, I looked at your chart it and seems you have been sick Ick!
