ultrasound q?

in 2nd Trimester

I had one at 16 weeks because of bleeding and we found out it was a girl. Then I had another one at 19 weeks just to make sure she was still okay. Im 23 weeks now and was just wondering when I might have another one if at all?

    Most OB offices do one at 8ish weeks to determine the EDD and the anatomy scan at 18-20 weeks.  You may have one later if there is a question with the baby's size (measuring small or big for gestational age) or if there are other issues.  Most likely, you won't get another u/s.

    I just had my last one at 20 weeks during the anatomy scan. I am pretty sure I am not having anymore. I had one at 6 weeks so they could get the EDD, one at 13 for the NT scan, and then the anatomy at 20. So you might not be having anymore. I am sure each practice and dr is different.

    It really depends on your doctor. I had an ultrasound at every one of my doctor appointments and then also had 2 scheduled ultrasounds. I switched to a different doctor and had my first appointment with him yesterday he gave me an ultrasound and said he does them for fun every once in a while but won't do them everytime.
