Who has taken the decorations down?

I went out after dinner last night to get my haircut and came home to all the decorations in our guest room....DH was apparently ready for them to come down! The tree is still up, but all the ornaments are off. I'm kinda sad though...everything looks so bare without all the holiday stuff!

I will be over the weekend... probably Sunday. I can't wait to get rid of the clutter and do a goooood cleaning.

I love the decorations, but after a while they start to bug me. Not to mention, I am so sick of sweeping/vacuuming the tree needles!

I took everything down Sunday. We're going away this weekend and I didn't want to deal with it when we got back. I've gotten to where I have so many decorations that I don't put them all out anymore. I only put out the obviously Christmas stuff and when I took that down I put out the more wintery type stuff. Honestly, I'm happy with the change over. In the Springtime is when I get the bummed out, everything looks so bare feeling.

Our outside decorations are still up, we'll take those down Monday.

Ha! These are all exactly the reasons why I couldn't wait to undecorate!

I wish! Our tree takes up so much room in our living room. We'll be waiting until some time next week. We're hosting Christmas for my side of the family on Sunday, otherwise it would be down on New Year's morning.

I started today. I never start the NY with last year's mess so I make sure it's down. It would have been down sooner but I had to go to DC on an unplanned trip on Monday and didn't get back until late last night.

Everything was taken down & put away Sunday night. DH & I felt like we were living in an episode of Hoarders (his exact words LOL) with all the Christmas decorations, tree & new gifts that hadn't yet found a resting place in our house. So, we put LO to bed & took it all down. Frees up some space in the livingrooom for the girls new ball pit (I hate my BIL for buying it!! 50 ball pick-up, anyone?) But, we had had everything up since the day after Thanksgiving, so I feel like we "did" Christmas for long enough!

We took our tree down on the 26th. We got it early and there's been needles all over the place and I was over it. I think I'm going to start taking down the other decorations today-I'm so ready to de-clutter!
