I know I've got a long time before I'm going to need this, but I just saw a commercial for the Magic Bullet and it make be think. Have any of you or do any of you plan on making at least some of your own baby food? I've heard of people doing it and BRU sells food processors to do so. What are you using to make baby food if you do? Would something like the Magic Bullet work? Its only $35 or so on Amazon so I was thinking about getting it now so I can use it and then just having it for the baby when I need it.

Re: Baby Food Maker ?
We made our own purees with Drew. But we were in and out of purees so quickly, I feel like I barely made baby food at all! We started at 6 months and by 8 months Drew was really into finger food.
My MIL bought the Babea Cook (sp?) baby food maker for us. It was handy, I guess. Just steaming things and putting them in our little 4 cup food processor would have worked as well. I wouldn't have spent the money on it myself nor would I recommend it to anyone. Nothing wrong with it, just not necessary, you know? Especially since, like I said, we were only in purees for about two months.
We used a steamer and our blender. I wanted a Babycook in the worst way but now I see that they are kind of a waste.
This time we plan on doing babyled weaning so HOPEFULLY this won't come up.
