3rd Trimester

Infomercials always get me at 4am!

So I can't sleep and as I flip though the channels I come across the Baby Bullet (by Magic Bullet) infomercial. It is all about making your own baby food ... Now I want to buy one, even tho I never use the Magic Bullet I already have! Has anyone ever even hears of the Baby Bullet? I feel like I "need" it, haha. Insomnia sure can be expensive!

  • What is the difference between the Magic Bullet and the Baby Bullet? I've seen the Magic Bullet infomercial and I don't see why you couldn't use that to puree food if you wanted to. Something tells me that the Baby Bullet is just a smaller, cuter, pastel-colored version of the useless thing you already have.

Save your 2 easy payments of 19.95.

yep you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Except it's 5 payments of $19.95, haha. And it comes with cute baby food storage containers, but they aren't worth $100! (I'm more awake now and don't have the erge to purchase it anymore, maybe just the accessory kit (which is much less :-))

  • I just saw that yesterday too and was intrigued by the "cuteness" of it, but we just replaced our Magic Bullet a couple of months ago.

I made all of DS's food in the regular magic bullet and I loved it.  I think the containers are bigger than the baby bullet so I could make bigger batches to freeze.  I just used ice cube trays and then popped them into freezer bags too which was so simple.

OMG! $100 for that thing?!?!? Craziness. I'd go to BBB and get a food processor for $20. Heck, for an extra $5 you could paint the food processor the pastel color of your choice.

  • I get sucked in by those stupid things too...

Ugh, I swear they play them in the middle of the night as part of their sales tactic.
