We just started painting today and have not bought anything else exept a few outfits. But I have registered and the only thing that we are buying before the shower is the furniture/decor though. Where are you at?

You are way ahead of me. I am just finalizing the making of the bedding and curtains. We haven't even cleared out the room that will become baby boy's nursery. But we did purchase tonight the new LR furniture that will also be guest accommodations since after we convert to full nursery we'll no longer have a guest room.
I am reusing DD's crib, changing table, glider, etc so no major purchases really.

I have a lot of it done! Still need to paint, put up some decals and hang some stuff up. We have the furniture, bedding, lamp & rug.

Nursery is painted, light & dimmer are up, blinds are up, crib & dresser are assembled, and we have a chair in there. I made the bunting tonight. We have a couple of totes out for books and toys and have a few blankets that family friends made for LO.

To do: get the rest of the bedding & crib mattress, get crib mobile, get changing pad for dresser and supplies, order & frame prints, order decals, organize closet, maybe hang some floating shelves, maybe make a ceiling mobile to hang over the changing pad.

We've done nothing. We need to move all the crap we currently have stored in the baby's room (I have no clue where we'll move it all, but some will need to be donated.) We have to find/buy furniture and some of the decor. I have bought a few bedding pieces but I plan on making the rest of them and making the rest of the decor. Lots of work ahead of us!

there is a onesie in the closet of the workout room. lol

We will most likely order the furniture within about 2 weeks and take the eliptical and bench out of the room to make room for when the furniture arrives.

ive purchased a lamp (and glad i did because its out of stock now!) and fabric for the glider cushions.

other than that, i have everything chosen, just need to buy and start painting and such!

i registered as soon as i found out what we were having, the next day my aunt bought most of my bedding and that week my mom bought my nursery stuff. i had purchased the crib and dresser/changer

Square One for us. The room has been used for storage and needs to be cleaned out. I'm trying to find a crib bedding set to get a theme/color scheme going, but not having any luck thus far. We're having a party after the baby is here rather than a traditional shower, so I'm gradually getting things we need here and there, but saving the bigger stuff for last. Lots to do and only 4 months to do it in!

I've been bad. I cut down my hours over Christmas, found out the gender and am now in baby overdrive.

We purchased and assembled the crib and dresser (50% off!). I bought a mattress and bedding set. Bought the change pad. Bought wall appliques and put them up. Cleaned 80% of junk out of babies room.

Left to do: closet (DH's job- needs paint, clothing rack, shelves and some drywalling), paint ceiling (DH's job- pine sap on it from the christmas tree being in there last year), buy curtain rod and hang already purchased curtains (planning on tomorrow). Clear out bin of medicine and dishes that were stored in there. Remove giantic pleather 70's chair from corner and replace with rocker (rocker is shower gift so will have to wait). Make chair pad out of bumper pads. Hang pictures (DH's job). Spray paint bins for change table (DH's job). Fix mobile or buy new one (me). Felt like I was almost done until I wrote all this.

I have an almost two year old son, so I feel like we have most of the "stuff" we need, however, I've done really nothing else. We have a spare bedroom that will be her room, a dresser in the basement that will be hers, a crib (that ds is still using), and we've gotten a few outfits. I'm not planning to do much decorating though, so I don't think I'm too far behind.

We finally started ripping out the flooring in the guest room (which will become the office). Hopefully we can get the new flooring in so that we can move all the stuff out of what will be the baby's room and rip that flooring out.

I am halfway registered and plan to finish that either this weekend or next. I am going to try not to buy anything else until after our showers except the large items (crib, dresser, mattress.)

Oh I have to order the bedding though so I can decide on a paint color for that room. I am hoping to have the new flooring in, ceiling and walls painted by the end of Feb.

We have done nothing yet. This LO and DS will be sharing a room so once we find out the sex ( 5th hopefully) we will start planning.

We cleared out the room (which was quite the accomplishment), bought and assembled the crib, made a design inspiration board, ordered the bedding and window treatments, and bought a rug.

Luckily the trim is already nicely painted so we don't have to do that.

On our list:

Paint + figure out some sort of feature wall

Buy recliner (already decided which one)

Pick out dresser

Figure out what to do with the artwork/wall decor

Buy room darkening shades

Finish registering

Organize the closet

Order in more cloth diapers and figure out where to store them.

Room is ready and the furniture is all there, but the crib isn't put together and the glider needs reupholstered. I have the crib mattress, some wall decals and a lamp. I'm making a quilt, sheets and curtains for the room so all that fabric is sitting in there for now. Unless a really good deal comes up I don't plan on getting anything else until after the shower(s).

The room is still acting like our storage unit so we have a lot of work ahead of us. If it makes anyone feel better DD's room still isn't fininshed and she is 10 months old!

I'm waiting until I find out if the LO is a boy or girl. So right now I've done nothing! DH and I haven't even cleaned out the room that is supposed to be the nursery yet...*sigh*

But I think we've got plenty of time

We won't know the sex until next week so we virtually haven't planned anything. My family has gotten me a few gender neutral things (outfits and such) but that's about it. I'm hoping next week or weekend we can go register because I already have ideas of what I want. My MIL is dying to buy us a crib but I wanted to wait to know the sex first before I decided on a crib color.

Nothing yet. I have a 2 year old DS and he is currently in the room that will become the nursery. We plan on getting DS's big boy room ready in the next couple of months, then we will start on the nursery. My anatomy scan is scheduled for Jan 26th, so hopefully we will be able to find out the sex of the baby and I can decide on nursery decor.

The room is painted, blinds and valances are up.

I'm in the process of making the rug. I just love how it is turning out!

We are getting the crib in Jan, and then I'll be able to start on making the sheets and my mom will make the quilt.

I am really hoping to get the rocker in Jan as well, so then I can finish the rug while I'm not huge. (I sit on the floor to do it.)

We replaced all the 2nd floor carpet (major project on our pre-baby major project list that got a kick start); completely cleared the room; painted the room; and last night installed her closet system (Martha Stewart from Home Depot...I give it a C- for ease of installation btw, though it does look good). We also ordered the furniture last month and expect it in the end of Feb, and we've mostly finished our registry.

To do: determine a design theme for window treatments, bedding, wall art and get that stuff/make it. Then wait for the furniture to come in and our shower and put the room together! I feel like we're in a good place doing a little at a time..... As long as no one looks in our third bedroom, which has had the door closed since we cleaned out the nursery. :-/

i could have this baby tomorrow and he could pretty much be all set...save the crib mattress. i dont think there is such thing as being too prepared too soon bc you just never know. we have all the basics...the nursery is still missing anyreal decoration, curtains, etc. but we have the crib, changing table and dresser all put together and ready. the room is painted, and theres clothes, diapers, wipes etc all set....we have been very blessed and have received so many gifts throughout the pregnancy. if you ask me there is a ton that is left to be done, but realistically i guess the essentials are almost taken care of. good luck ladies

We haven't registered, purchased anything, or begun to organize our spare room. Right now our progress is 0%. I am hoping to move some furniture around and begin working on the room next month once we put away our Christmas decorations.
