Others at Anatomy Scan

I was just wondering did or will you have others besides DH, like your mom or a friend come to the Anatomy scan?  My anatomy scan is monday the 3rd and I know my mom is coming and maybe my best friend.  They will only be able to come in after the anatomy scan just to find out the gender (if the baby cooperates). I was just curious if any of you ladies had or will have others come with you.

    My hubby & mother in law came to mine. I could only take (2) people in with me and my mom thought it would be special for my MIL because she doesn't have any daughters and my mama has two.... & the fact that my SIL has isolated my neice and nephew from seeing their grandma for NO REASON! So it was good for everyone! Smile

    It was just me and the hubs at our scan.  His family lives in Florida, mine lives over an hour away and the friend I'd have had with me lives on the other side of the state.

     I actually liked it just being the two of us though.

    haha yes I sure did! The tech even said she wish she would have gotten the bigger room:) I had my DH, mom, sis, and the two kids I nanny:)
    So excited for our little blessing:)

    Just me and hubby at our scan tomorrow.  I prefer it that way.  We will fill everyone in later.

    It was just me and my husband, but I saw 2 large groups in the waiting room.  I think most places allow it, but some don't.  I really thought it was a special moment for me and my husband.  We called our parents and friends shortly after!

    DH comes to all my scans and ultrasounds, but MIL is working (good) and my mom lives a few states away (sad).  But it's a real bonding experience for just the two of us!

    We are going to talk to the ultrasound tech and see if she can reveal the gender to just the two of us so that we can have our own special moment.  Then bring my mom and BF in so they can find out the gender.

    They only allowed 2 people at my scan, so my husband and mom came with me.

    I think my dr office is pretty liberal.  At an appt I had, this lady had about 6 people with her.  You could hear them cheer down the hallway.

    At my scan, my DH and 79 year old grandma who has never seen a baby u/s went.  She was so amazed.  The tech let them stay in through the whole scan so grandma got to see all the baby parts.

    My very best friend has come to every one of my ultrasound appointments! She is a nurse also, and she takes notes on everything the doctor says and gives them to me. She's the responsible one of the two of us, and I plan on having her in the room at the delivery, if possible!
