table food

My 10 month old is completely over baby food, I have been giving him mac and cheese, waffles, french toast, pancakes, baby yogurt, sweet potato and potatos... Does anyone have any other suggestions of table food that I could give him? I need stuff that is easy and quick to make.

Re: table food

  • Peas and corn can be steamed in the microwave and do not need to be cut up.

Orzo pasta is nice because it's only slightly bigger than rice once cooked.

Ground beef, chicken, and turkey are easy to prepare and reheat and do not require being cut up.

DS loved grilled cheese from the beginning.

  • We're vegetarians so we do lots of fruits and veggies, cheese and crackers, pasta, and morningstar stuff.

I find if I cut up a lot of different things (and colorful things) and put them in a cup cake pan, each item in their own cupckae spot, my DS will graze on this all day.  Super easy and fun for your DS, also gives you a free hand:)
