Should I splurge on the expensive test?

I'm 15 days past O, 3 days late (I have a 27 day cycle), and still getting a BFN with my dollar store tests.  Should I buy a better test?

    I would wait a few more days. I did go out and buy one of those expensive tests (ones that actually say Pregnant or Not Pregnant) and it was a little harsh actually seeing the words Not Pregnant spelled out! And knowing that it was a waste of $!

    Ugh! Those are soul-crushers! I made that mistake once- from now on, I am sticking to the 2 lines!

    I would wait a week and test again with a different test if AF has not arrived.

    I wouldn't, but that's just me. Sounds like you probably O'd late if you are getting BFN's. I hope I'm wrong though... good luck!!

    i don't want to see the words "not pregnant" under any circumstances, so i'd wait... the other one's are just as sensitive i think... but if you feel you can take it... it's your money! do what you want with it!! ha ha

    if you're not charting... and you don't get a BFP this cycle, i'd start. it really helps to know what's going on.

    Uggh!  I wish I would have charted just so I would know for sure when I O'd and what the heck is going on with my body.  I charted for nearly a year before my first pregnancy, at first to avoid pregnancy and just understand what was going on with my body...I was (and still do) have a lot of spotting throughout my cycles.  I have a 27 day cycle and a short 11-12 day LP like clock-work.  I have never been more than 2 days late.  I just started spotting really dark and heavier than usual today (because I spot most days anyways).  I'm sure it's a BFN this month, but this is weird to be so late.  Oh well.
