There was one across from our reception hall and on a whim I asked our photog how he felt pics would look in it. He loved the idea so we went for it. This pic and one other from the field are among my favorite from our big day!

Ahhhh...haha! I don't think I've ever seen a field up close..usually just while driving on the interstate
It is very, very pretty! The colors are incredible.
We took some pictures at a softball field across from the church where we got married and they are some of the cutest ones we have...my DH loved it! (Well, I didn't actually go there, I was scared my dress was going to get too dirty-ha!)

Ok...too ironic...I just saw a commercial on TV and it had a huuuuge field in it! With a big tractor or something...it was a commercial for the tractor brand.

I hiked up the dress and then made DH pick me up, lol. There is one where I'm standing, but my dress is strategically placed for minimal dirt

The plan was for me to go, too, but when we were taking pics at the lake/park I somehow got tar on my dress so I was in freak out mode as my SIL tried (and was successful!) in getting the tar off of my dress while the guys were taking the pictures.

The funny thing is, is that we don't live in a "farmy" area. Of course there are a ton of farms in NJ, but not really in our general area. This cornfield just happened to be right where we needed it when we least expected it!

It seriously looked like the field is fake or something, it is colored so perfectly!
There aren't any farms around here either...at least not that I've ever seen. But I don't leave the city of Auburn often and if I do, it is only to drive on the interstate to Montgomery, Atlanta or B'ham and I've never noticed any there.
I kind of feel like I should know this...and that this area could be a big farming area...hmmm...maybe I need to get out more!

I KNOW! It was super hot and the tar on the streets/sidewalks was melting..it was awful. She got it out with a Tide Pen of all things! Amazing...

Oh I understand the type A-ness. I had an excel spreadsheet that listed each day of my IVF cycle... the meds, the monitoring... I needed it all in front of me to help give me some kind of control.
And my pills are in my purse and ready to be washed down with my breakfast

I have a spreadsheet...TOO!
I'm so type A that I can't just use my BB planner...or my email planner...I have to use both, and an actual hard copy paper planner...because it just seems silly not to..
I also color code and organize my grocery list by the lay out of the store and have a specific grocery list pen that is to ONLY be used for my lists...
I sound like a nut.
