I think this is the wetbag I have... here
I washed it today.
Ummmmm big disaster.
It's two layers, the waterproof inside, and the colorful outside.
The inside part that is waterproof came inside out and filled up with water. Then the handles got all tangled up.
I ended up with about a gallon of water just sitting in the wetbag and it not clean at all...
Am I missing something about washing these?
I was under the impression they just got washed regularly.

that's what it came out looking like. With a TON of water in the waterproof part.
We JUST got a new washer though. So I'm going to give it a few tries in this new one before I decide to part with it or something...

i don't have any 2-layered ones like that, but just a thought... could you turn it inside out, and then zip it up, so that the inside gets all the cleaning, but can't pick up too much water?
when i've done laundry in top-loaders i do sometimes have an issue with my pail liners (just single layer of PUL) picking up a lot of water, I just dump in the utility sink, and rinse if there are still suds in it.
