Strongly dislike it. My cousin is named Tate and people in our family still call him Tater tot. He's in his 30s! I imagine this would happen with Tatum. Also, it doesn't sound pretty.
See...this is one of those names that I do really like and think would be adorable.
But just don't have the guts to use. Ugh. I get the strong sense that it's just a little too 'different' to escape lots of weird looks in our circle of family/friends...
I like it. I know several Tatums of all different ages. It's cute and it grows well. It's NMS personally, but I much prefer it to other masculine sounding female names like Addison and Emerson.
Re: Opinions on Tatum?
Owen Anders: labor (natural onset), failed VBAC, emergency c/s.
I'm sorry, I must be gross...first thing thats comes to mind is taint.
It makes me think of potatoes and totem poles.

Me too. Though the name is NMS, the only person who I know with this name is an adorable blond-haired, blue eyed little girl.
My parents live on Tatum Street, so that kind of colors it for me...
On the one hand I can see i being kind of cute, but on the other it doesn't sound like much of a girl's name and is nms.
I like it.
Delivery nurse with DS #1 was named Tatum - cute, 20-something young lady.
