We are having identical boys and are trying to pick names. We decided on Jayden, but still unsure about the second name. We were thinking about Devyn. Does this spelling look feminine? Any other name suggestions?
well, there are about a billion different names people could suggest... you need to go with what YOU and your DH like - don't worry about others.
since you asked- I personally (and I think most on the bump/nest boards would agree) dislike any random "y"s in names...there's no need to be creative with the spelling of a name- it only makes the child's life a PITA having to spell it out constantly or seeing it spelled wrong all the time.

Ditto all of this. YOU have to like the names, it doesn't matter 1 bit if I like the name, you're going to be the one saying it 10,000 times per day.
I have to agree with Goldie. I love those names, but in my tiny little opinion I would go with the traditional Devin. My LO's name is Lillyann Hope and every one thinks her name is either Lilly Ann or Lillian.
I agree with the others that it doesn't matter at all what we think. And I also agree with the others about the letter y...but I see that your older two kids have y's in their names, so, again, screw my opinion and do what you want to do.
One thing, though: Jayden is very popular. And yes, I do think that adding a y to Devyn makes it more feminine.

Thanks for the help. We def are using Jayden, but not sure on the ending of the name for spelling. Peyton is on our list too. I don't care for popular names, but love Jayden. I know that it is common. I had a whole list of girls names with 2 that we decided on...of course this time they were boys! (We have two girls already) I never realized boys names were so hard to decide on. We did have another one, Landon...however, my cousin is due in February and decided to use it!
As for the spelling of names, I have a common spelling of my name and I am asked to spell it all the time. I don't think it matters what the name is now, people are always asked to spell it. I have been doing it for so long that I don't even think about it. Again, thanks for the suggestions. My DH and I have more names to look for. At least the middle names should be easier, we are using family names for them.
I'm also having twin boys and we can't come up with names either. Possibly Kellen and Rowen. However, they're both uni-sex names. Too feminine? I like Jayden and Devyn but I agree about the "y". I think it would cause some confusion. But, go with what you like. I think they're both cute.

This. Exactly.
But since you asked- Jayden makes me think of Britney Spears. Which is never good in my opinion...

If you love a name, go with it.
I agree with Goldie about the "Y" in the name. I would just spell it the standard way. Less confusing for all.

Also, Jayden looks pretty fem to me, too.
Yay for Jayden (DS's name) which I do not think is feminine at all! It is popular on all the name lists but we have only come into contact with a few.
Devon was actually in the running if we were to have boys. Ethan was another name we loved. We also kept gravitating towards the names ending in N.
We are also having a very hard time coming up with 2 boy names!! I thought finding out the sex would make this easier, but it's definatley not!!
I like Jayden and Devon. If you want the spelling to be similar you could go with Jaydon and Devon or Jaydan and Devan.
So far our top runners are Hudson, Gage, Peyton and, Darren.
What about Jayden and Peyton/Peyten?
We change our minds daily. Sorry I am no help. Good luck
