She haaaaated it! So do I, but I was hoping she'd be a less picky eater than me. I'm gonna reintroduce it a few more times just in case she develops a taste for it!
HOW DARE YOU FEED ME TOFU!?!?!?

I really never understood the purpose of eating a tasteless sponge (I mean tofu). :-)
Cute pic, btw.
The wonderful thing about it is that it tastes like whatever you want it too! It is the best! It can taste like eggs, or meat, or cake, or whatever. yummm

I've always hated tofu, and my friend used to try to trick me into eating it. In 4th or 5th grade I was at her house and she asked if I wanted a snack, so she brought me a spoonful of peanut butter... and she hid tofu in it! So it's been an ongoing joke about how much I hate tofu.. and at DD's baby shower I had people write wishes for her on the back of wooden flowers that they painted to go in her room, and on the flower my friend painted she wrote, "may you grow to like tofu". I couldn't wait to send her this picture!!!!

It still has it's own unique taste (no matter how much it's hidden amongst other flavors). Besides the spongy texture. I am NOT a picky eater either, but this is where I draw the line...lol.

This exactly! Tofu is a wonderful magical food haha. It can also be horribly disgusting depending on how it is seasoned and cooked. If it was soggy unseasoned tofu, I would spit it out too! :0)

She likes plain yogurt... that has no flavor either! Anyway, how would you recommend cooking it in a baby-friendly way?

I would bake it. It would work out best if you bought extra firm & then pressed it prior to baking. There's got to be a gazillion recipe's online you could easily make baby friendly. It would work really well cut into thicker fry shaped sizes that she could easily pick up.
LOL. I must confess I had never had tofu until recently, I made it for dinner because I heard a lot of babies love it. I egged it and breaded it and cooked it like chicken fingers and DD LOVED it, but I couldn't handle it. The texture is so gross, but I was happy she liked it!

I didn't buy extra firm... I bought the pre-cut cubes because touching tofu gives me the willies!
