spotting that started at 7am

in 2nd Trimester

I noticed a slight, pinkish orange ish discharge this morning. freaked right out and called the Doctor- they told me to stay off my feet and go home for the day. I came home and relaxed all day. I got up a few times though. I was fine all day but noticed a little while ago that it returned. DH says blood is very concentrated so the sample I showed him (he's a trooper) looked like a tiny bit of blood. We had sex Sunday and I was on top. I have no cramping or anything out of the ordinary... has this happened to anyone else ? 

What was the outcome?

If it keeps up they told me to call tomorrow and I will go for an u/s. How much blood is enough to call or should I not worry?

    As long as there is no cramping or constant flow you should be ok. It's common to bleed after sex since the cervix is so sensitive.

    Anytime :) I bled after an internal ultrasound and went into the doctor and he said everything was fine just things are more sensitive. He suggested I take it easy for a few days and I haven't bled since.

    I had spotting after sex a few times between 12-18 weeks, when it happened my Dr. just told me to wait a week to have sex again. After a couple times we waited 2 or 3 weeks just to be safe, and I haven't had any problems since. You might just have to wait for your uterus to get bigger and kind lift your cervix up and out of the way ( or at least thats what my dr said which seemed to be true for me)
