I hadn't heard about this show until today when I caught up on an episode of Oprah. That's crazy that they conceived quints with an IUI!  Wowza. Anyone watched their special? Apparently it aired a while back.

    No, I didn't watch it but this is the perfect example of why people must ALWAYS have monitoring during all medicated cycles (Clomid/TI, IUI, everything). And that was really a pretty irresponsible RE to trigger them with so many follies...

    HOM are actually more common with IUIs than IVF because IVF is much more controlled than IUIs are.

    I watched the show. It was ok.

    I agree w/ Madelyn...great example of making sure you are monitored when taking any Fert meds!!

    I agree about the irresponsibility of the RE, especially when I've read that they're against selective reduction. They knew the risks.  I had 5 follies and my RE cancelled my cycle and I'm glad he did!
