Does period flow affect TTC??

I have no clue if the flow of you cycle connects to TTC.  I have very light periods - can go the hole day only using 2 pads.  My periods last about 3-4 days, with the last day being just spotting.  Does this affect anything with TTC??  I'm apologize if this has ever been asked before.  JUst wondering if it is something I should be concerned about.

    No, it doesn't have much to do with TTC. Sometimes annovulatory bleeding is lighter than a real period, but if you're charting and know you're ovulating then it's not an issue. If you have very heavy flow, it can be indicative of a problem but not necessarily. :)

    I'm in this same boat. I'm interested in what others have to say! You may check the responses in my question a few posts down as well. Also, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I will be bringing this up, so I'll update you tomorrow on what he says if you would like!

    I wish I would have seen your post before posting mine...it's nice to see someone who can connect with what your going through.  I'd love to hear what happens tomorrow.  Good Luck!!!

    I've always wondered this as well, but have never heard anything that indicates a lighter flow is harmful to TTC as long as you are ovulating.

    Bride0309, I'd be interested to hear if your DR confirms this.

    length of your period does not matter. I would have 2 days of light flow and 2 days of spotting and we were blessed to get our bfp. i hope this eases your mind a little bit and hope you get your bfp soon!
