Anyone know a good affordable place for party favors besides Iparty in Boston, or Northshore area? Or trusted website to order from. I'm having a hard time trying to plan a baby shower without going over board with money. But I want one that guests will remember....
Re: Affordable baby shower??
For my sister's bridal shower, I went to the Yankee Candle Outlet in Wrentham. I found pretty votive holders and candles in the colors of the wedding. I added ribbons and little cards with a poem on them.
For her wedding, my sister went to the Lindt outlet and got boxes and chocolates with ribbons and tags. I know they're not specifically baby shower favors, but we ended up getting really good deals on them. I'm sure you could find something that you could customize.
Hi -- I used https://www.beau-coup.com/ for my wedding favors, they weren't too expensive and the favors turned out very nice.
one alternative to storebought favors would be to find something you could bake/make, or another family member could help with as well. I saw somebody on the baby shower board post about the idea of caramel popcorn balls and a tag that says "she's about to pop" I thought this was cute and would be something people would eat not throw out after. At my shower the host made candy and chocolates and gave those out. Another idea I have seen was to order a large bouquet of roses or another nice flower and let the guest of honor give each guest the flower as they say goodbye.

Yeah, I'd do something you could make, and something consumable. Anything I've ever received as a favor that wasn't edible was basically junked by me once I got home. When am I going to light a little candle shaped like baby booties? Go to Michael's and get stuff to make chocolates- sooo easy, or bake some cookies- these recipes are fabulous for sugar cookies and icing- do you know the sex? Do pink/purple or blue/green icing:

Wrap them up nicely and you're good to go.
Have fun!
