Hi everyone,
Thought I'd introduce myself here since I may be hanging out for awhile.
I'm a regular on the nest, but this is an AE since most people don't know that we're trying. MH and I have been married for several years and I just went off BC in early November. I'm in the 2WW of cycle 2 and currently driving myself crazy with phantom symptoms. Heh. As I've quickly learned, being a type A personality and TTC go together about as well as oil and water.
I've read the newbie info at the top and will try not to ask any dumb questions. Excited to be here, but hoping to graduate sooner rather than later. ![]()

LOVE your post. We may end up being good buddies.
People don't know we're trying either, I went off BC in September, am also in the 2WW of cycle 2, and am ALSO a type A personality who tends to drive myself crazy.
Welcome to the party.
You can say that again! I'm in the same boat. Welcome, and good luck to you! Hope your stay is short and sweet.

Ha - Thanks!
I love my dr. to pieces, but I'm not sure why I thought her advice of "stop BC and then just see what happens" would at all work with my personality. I mean, really though, I'm a planner with everything else in my life, why I thought I could "just" have fun with TTC is beyond me.
Good luck to you, too!
Nice to know I'm not alone.

Not yet. I've poked around FF, but am not quite ready to start charting/temping at this point. I tried using OPKs this cycle, but was only testing 1x/day and with FMU. Um, oops.
Big shocker, I never got a +, but went by other symptoms and we're just seeing what happens. Assuming this cycle is a bust, I plan to use OPKs again next cycle, but 2x/day and testing in the late afternoon/evening for one of them.

Welcome, nice to have you join our group.
Welcome! I am another newbie with a type A personality. I am on my first cycle TTC, although I used charting to TTA for 11 months first. I really recommend charting. It seemed daunting to me before I started it, but knowing what my body is doing is actually very empowering. It's as close as you can get to "planning" when TTC.
Good luck and I look forward to posting with you!
