Well tomorrow marks CD 60 of Cycle 2, Month 7 and despite my CH's--I am fairly certain that I did not ovulate. I called the doctor and she is referring me to the RE for annovulation. Has anyone been to the RE this soon in the game? Will I get the same work-up as someone who has been trying for a year even though we know exactly what the issue is?
Re: Already being sent to the RE...
I wouldn't presume to know what the issue is, since anovulation is usually symptomatic of another underlying medical condition, rather than its own specific diagnosis.
Good luck - I hope you get some answers and a good game plan in place soon!

On my insurance, I don't even see the OB/GYN until I am pregnant or have some other medical need to do so. I have to see my GP for EVERYTHING and then get referred to a specialist, so I am not comfortable moving with her for anything more than Provera when it comes to TTC, although I do feel it premature for more invasive measures (much like you).
You are so wise. Thanks!
TTC since 2010
lots of IUIs and 1 IVF all BFNs
FET currently on hold
This exactly. You will/should get a full work up. I was dx with chronic annovulation and we eventually found out it was due to a pituitary tumor that was realising too much prolactin, which in turn was affecting my period/ovulation. GL!
Been married since 2009.
Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter)

This. My OB/GYN was passing out Clomid like it was candy at Halloween, so I felt that I should seek out treatment from an RE on my own. I think this will be great for you, and will help save you time and headache! GOOD LUCK!!!!
ETA: Plus, even though this is your second cycle, you've been trying for much longer than 2 months (I think you said 7?), so it probably seems like a shorter period of time than it actually is!
