Here's my question:

I took an OPK on Christmas day (the day FF says I O'd) at 6 pm and it was negative. I actually didn't go to bed until like 4 am and took another OPK around 3:30 AM that was positive. I thought I would be O'ing on the 26th since my LH surge didn't show up until early that morning. Does this make any sense to anyone. The reason I wonder is that we had sex twice the 26th, but not all on the 25th. I know that sperm can stay in there for a few days, but twice on O day just makes me feel betterBig Smile

    Since they're dotted, they might move.  It will be interesting to see what happens with your next few temps.  Yay for CH's!

    Yay for CH's!  Couple of thoughts...

    Okay, so if it were *my* chart, I would remove the + OPK from the 25th, since technically you didn't get that pos. until early in the morning of the 26th.  And I would make note on that date of the specifics of the OPK results and times just for reference for myself later.  

    Also, if you didn't go to bed until 4:30am on the 26th, how were you not sleep deprived when you temped later that morning?  I would have expected to see an open circle that day, but the circle is filled in... that could have affected your waking temp, especially if you were drinking the night before. Reason being, I've had charts where I've had a nice pre-O dip, and depending on how much my temps rise that subsequent day, FF decides if it favors the day of the dip or the day after as my O date on my chart.  So getting a solid, accurate temp the day after that pre-O dip is pretty important as far as that is concerned.

    Thanks so much for the input. I think I will take away that positive OPK on the 25th. I wasn't drinking the night before, just watching Christmas movies with my dad until DH got off work so I could pick him up. Good point about my temp that day being high. That could mean that I actually ovulated on Sunday which is what I had originally thought. Thanks a lot. That really helpedSmile
