Hump or Pass?

Warning - kind of TMI

I'm on day 13, on my first round of Clomid and have never gotten a positive ovulation test. I'm guessing it'll be any day and we had sex yesterday, but today I woke up with a fantastic yeast infection.

Is it worth it to have gross, painful sex tonight in case I ovulate soon, or pass? I tested twice today, both times circles.

    I'd hump it out. But I have never had a yeaster. So I don't know how painful it is to have sex during it.

    Um, I would have sex, but I have never had a nasty yeast infection. So, I don't know how painful and or gross it could really be.

    ETA: I mean "nasty" as in a really bad infection, not that the OP or anyone else who has ever had a bad yeast infection is nasty.

    Pass. Or start taking a 3 day  OTC med. ASAP and hope that your O date holds off. (I didn't mention the 1 day medication b/c its so highly toxic, I think most Doctors don't recommend it.)

    ETA: My reasoning.

    1.) It is very painful.

    2.) It can be transferred to YH. Not likely but it is possible.

    3.) If you haven't O'd yet you probably still have a couple of days to get healthy.

    If you haven't gotten a + on your OPK, I would say it's safe to skip humping until you get a +.  Spare yourself the pain until it's completely necessary. 

    You can click on my chart and see that I didn't O until CD20  my previous cycle and I too was on clomid.  I got my first + OPK that cycle on clomid on CD17. 

    ETA: I would also recommend getting some internet cheapies if you plan to continue to pee on them several times today.  I have one box of digitals that I use if I'm in question of the results of the IC.  It will save you a ton of money.

    Do not have sex tonight.  There is no reason for it.  Once you get a positive test you ovulate about 12-36hrs after the first positive so if you don't get one until tomorrow then tomorrow is fine to have sex and still have plenty of time for spern to meet egg.  Don't worry about having painful sex its NOT going to matter.  

    ps I've done MANY clomid cycles in my life so I know what Im talking about haha.... GL sweetie!

    PASS!!!!! 1 - It will not be pleasant and 2 - the infection can be passed to your husband.

    FYI - Try sleeping without underwear or (if you'd rather not) at least make sure they're 100% cotton!

    This! If your YI is pretty nasty, you will be in for some serious burning pain.

    Skip it! I got a YI while on an antibiotic last year and DH and I ended up passing it back and forth several times. It was awful! My DH is not circumcised  because he turned blue due to a heart defect so that could be why but I still wouldn't chance it.

    PASS!  I gave DH (circumcised) a YI.  He didn't mention it to me and it spread like crazy.  ALL his manly parts were itchy.  LOL.  I'm so mean to laugh, but if he had said something sooner he could have stopped it.  Finally, after he gave it back to me, I realized what was going on.  Call and get a Diflucan to knock it out quicker.  Those over the counter meds don't work as well as the Diflucan IMHO.

    This, and I will add:

    4.) Your environment will not be very sperm friendly because your PH will be off, so I don't think you will accomplish much by humping it out anyway.

    Here's hoping you get better before O day!
