Hey ladies,

Im new to the board. My husband and I have been trying to concieve since October. We already have two children. We thought we would get pregnant right after we had the mirena removed at the beginning of October. So far no luck! Its nice to read these posts and gain insight on "how to" get preggo!!

TCOYF is also a good read.

Oh, and the board doesn't necessarily like the word Prego unless you mean spaghetti sauce.

Welcome! I have also been officially trying since October, but off BC since August. I don't know if you already chart or not, but please check out fertilityfriend.com or click on my ticker. It helps to know what's going on with your body. This board also has a lot of helpful information. You can learn a lot by lurking for a while. Good luck!

Just as an aside, did your OB mention when he was okay with you getting pregnant after having your IUD removed?

I had mine removed in September and my OB told me to wait 2-3 cycles to make sure that my uterine lining would be thick enough to allow a good implantation.

Welcome! As PP have said, it is very useful to chart fertility signs, because it's the only real way you know when/if you're ovulating and, therefore, when to time sex to get PG. Don't hesitate to post anything -- we're here to help! Smile
