The Boobie Report: Day 1, Afternoon Edition

So I officially cut M off from the boob juice last night, but we got in a brief BFing session this morning before I started my meds.

Have been trying for a boob-free nap all afternoon but DH finally took M upstairs in the hopes of finally getting him  down. I'm eating cheese and crackers, holding back tears while I hear M saying, "Muuuuum. Mumumumum," upstairs. Crying

    I only bf for 5 1/2 months and it was hard on me too.  I can't imagine how hard it is after 17 months!  ((HUGS))

    GL, this must be hard on you. I have the opposite problem: my LO's never took the breast so I EP-ed for Jason and now doing the same for Erin. Every day is a struggle!

    I had to start last Monday so I feel for you :(  It breaks your heart, doesn't it?  T was a boob addict too and she has actually adapted much better and faster than I thought she would.  The first day was by far the hardest, she cried, I cried, it was awful.  Hang in there, it WILL get better.  You know your child best, but for us it helped to give her extra snuggles and loves.  I just made sure I had something bulky on so she wasn't distracted by the girls.  I also think you should be very proud that you BF for as long as you did, as we all know, its not as easy as it sounds!
