Crib Recs - Graco vs. Babe Cache

Trying to decide between these two cribs: Graco Lauren ($149) vs. Babe Cache Bliss Curved Lifetime ($329).

They are similar in style and both seem to get good ratings. My sense is that Graco is probably a better value while Baby Cache seems to more well known for overall quality as far as furniture. My only other concern with Graco is that it doesn't have a matching dresser but I know I can get a similar finish from Ikea, etc. I also hate the way the Baby Cache crib looks as a toddler bed.

If you have either, would you recommend yours? If you looked at both, which did you choose and why?

    I don't know anything about the Graco but I have the Baby Cache Heritage crib and changing table and  i love it!  It's very good quality.

    I just ordered the Baby Cache Bliss Crib and Dresser yesterday. Originally I thought I'd get a Graco Lauren, but after spending some time with it I realized I wanted something more substantial. I know lots of people love it, but I thought the wood in the front seemed kind of thin and I also thought it might get a lot of dents and scratches over time (although, all cribs do). I went with the Bliss crib because it had the Munire rep behind it, but wasn't as expensive as some of the other  Baby Cache cribs. Also, the matching dresser was reasonable priced (I think $429), and seemed pretty sturdy.

    Thanks Xles. This is exactly what I was thinking and am now leaning towards. We're very fortunate that my parents have agreed to buy the nursery furniture for us up to $800 and my mom was concerned about why the Graco crib was so inexpensive and wanted me to look around.

    We just bought the Graco Lauren crib and changing table from Walmart (I think it was like $210 for both) and although we haven't used it for the baby yet...we built it and love it.

    I think the quality is great, and we were very happy with the price. I too was a little worried since it was cheaper in price, but I read a lot of reviews on Walmart.com and BRU before purchasing and all of the users seemed very pleased with it.

    We just got the Baby Cache which we love but had some issues getting a good one. We had to send back 2 before it came out perfect with no knicks or missing pieces.

    We have two Graco cribs - the Victoria and the Charleston.  I am very impressed by the quality of both.  They are actually manufactured by La Jobi, which makes some rather high end cribs.
