Recommend your OB that Delivers at Woodwinds

My DH and I are thinking of switching to deliver at Woodwinds instead of United.  This would mean that we need to find a new OB that delivers at Woodwinds.

Has anyone been to Adefris and Toppin in Woodbury?  If so, did you have a good experience with them as your OB?  Otherwise please recommend your OB that delivers at Woodwinds.

    Dr Annette Mies w/Metro Ob/Gyn in Woodbury delivered my cousins twins. My cousin loved her! Dr Mies sees patients in Woodbury, but does deliveries at St Johns, Woodwinds and United.

    My girlfried saw Dr Toppin for both her pregnancies. Her comment was that she was a great high risk OB, but lacked "warm fuzzies."

    Well, just remember unless your OB/gyn is on call for you it's very uncertain if that'll be the person to deliver you!

    FYI, I did United and Woodwinds for each kid.  Some nice things about Woodwinds, but beyond their shocking, horrid medical error, we actually had a way nicer L&D experience at United.  

    Woodwinds is also getting crazy popular and they only have 23 beds so you may not even be able to deliver there.  I was sooooo upset, called the night I thought I was in labor, and they said they were booked.  I hadn't even gone to their back up hospital EVER, and was super upset (after switching to Woodwinds at week 30 of my pg.)  Fortunately in the AM they had a room, I was in active labor, and a few hours later met my baby!

    I went to Comprehensive healthcare for women with my last pregnancy.  The Dr. I saw all the time in office was Dr. Tumaneng.  SHe was really nice.  Ended up delivering on a Monday which is her day off so I had a partner from there Dr. Arnold.  He was great, ended up with an "urgent" c-section.  Or if you want a GP that can deliver and also be the babies Dr. after, you could go across the hall and see Dr. Ilko.  Sees lots of prenant ladies and will be there for delivery.  Takes all his own calls.  Good luck.

    I have Dr Less, with Metro OBGYN. Ive been seeing him for about 2 yrs now. And hes a great guy he has a few offices but he delivers at Woodwinds, bc that is where I plan on Delivering at.

    Dr. Kelly at Metro OBGYN. She didn't actually deliver DS, but we had a great experience with her through the pregnancy.

    Dr. English at Metro Ob/Gyn.  He was my Ob/Gyn for both kids and I can't say enough good things about him.  He tries to be there for his own deliveries.  His partner, Dr. Grande, delivered DD because Dr. English wasn't paged.  Dr. English did DS' csection and I had his partner Dr. Kelly round on me.  She was nice too.  My cousin sees Dr. Flynn for her pregnancies and really likes her.  It seems like you can't go wrong with a dr. from this group. 

    I had both kids at Woodwinds and had a great experience with both at that hospital.

    I see Dr. Andreson at Adefris and Toppin and love her. I also delivered my last at Woodwinds and it was an amazing experience. It was wonderful. My first was at United and I had a horrible experience. I would highly recommend adefris and toppin and Woodwinds. GL!

    I also see Dr Andreson!!!  I love her as well!! I also saw Stephanie (CNM) for several of my prenatal appointments and she's awesome as well.

    I love everyone at Adefris and Toppin, we had such a great experience with them and actually both Dr. Adefris and Dr. Toppin were there for the birth of our daughter in Feb. I would totally recommend their office and Woodwinds in general! In fact we just found out we are expecting again and I am really torn because we live sort of far to justify driving all the way there for appointments (*** Rapids) but I don't know if I will have as good as experience anywhere else!
