Maybe TMI, anyone else with this prob.?

Before I make a doc appt, if anyone has had this info please help! A few weeks ago i noticed the center of only one nipple was brown, like kind of scabbish, crusty at very very center. Today my boob/nipple has been so itchy like crazy, and i just went and looked and its so dry and almost bigger than normal. Ive never ever had any discharge. I ovulated last week and dh and i didnt use any clomid or anything this month, due to a break with the med

    Here's my experience:  The only time I've had what you describe was when I (a) didn't wear a bra and my nipple was rubbed raw- but I had a few drinks so I really didn't notice any pain.  Yikes.  or (b) when I had an allergic reaction to a new lotion.  It looked dried out and inflammed, so maybe that's the issue?  Not just lotion but think of anything: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, detergent, dryer sheets- anything new.
