Hey any news on the DE front? Haven't seen you in a while and just want to catch up?

Here's hoping all is going well!

    Hi Baze!   Nope, no news yet.  I didn't really figure they would find someone before the new year.  And I know they don't do a lot of cycles in Dec.  They said they shut down the lab for 2 weeks for cleaning in Dec & July.  I'm sure it is for vacation for them too...

    I've been mostly lurking since there is really nothing to report.

    Have you heard anything?  Did you have a good Christmas?  Thinking good thoughts for you!!

    We haven't heard anything from DE but we have received our Adoption Packet and have crossed two things off the list..Going to get finger printed this week. So that will be 3...we are three steps closer.

    Also once our homestudy is complete, we are going to try for DEmbies ( not sure how to abbreviate that!) We found an agency that treats it similar to adoption..Donors pick the family they go to. We would get all the frozen embies from this family. IF we had had any frozen embies we would have done the same thing. DH is excited about this type of adoption. No guarentees just you gt the frozen embies to transfer. Heck whats another few thousand right?

    I will keep you posted. And will look for your updates...

    Sounds like you are moving right along.  Very exciting!  I have heard of the donor embie stuff.  There was a news story in the spring about them.  That is exciting too!  Good Luck, I'll be looking for your updates too.
