Are there any December mommies to be left? LOL

My due date is Thursday. This kid is NEVER coming out lol. I was 2 cm dilated last Thursday but nothing has happened, no contrax, nothing. I go for my 40 week appt Thursday but honestly I am DONE DONE DONE. Im so anxious about water breaking or the like I feel like I cant leave my house lol. Besides the fact that I have one pair of pants left that fit!!!

(And I know, I have a 3.5 year old already, so I know once the baby is out, I will be wishing for the silence of pregnancy lol. I've been through it...)

I'm due Thursday too, and can't wait for this kid to be here, even though I too know what's in store once baby comes home (I've got a 2.5 YO DS already). But I can't wait to hold a baby again, plus I want to start getting my body back, I'm tired of waddling around and flopping over on the couch/bed, feeling like a beached whale! Maybe it's something to do with the time of year and being due now, but I'm feeling much more motivated this time around to get my pre-baby body back, and I want to get started, I'm sick of being uncomfortable!

I'm here... and I'm starting to think my doctor is full of shiit. First they told me I would never make it to my due date, then they told me they would def. induce before end of year for insurance reasons... well here I am... haven't changed since last weeks stil 1 1/2 cm and 80% so nothing has changed in a weeks but somehow this week I'm favorable for induction and last week I wasn't... So they set the eviction date for next wed. and mom leaves saturday. I'm pissed so I've decided to say f this shiit. I'm not sitting around here anymore. I'm going to the beach.

I am still here. Going to Dr. later today but don't think anything will come of it. She will induce next Monday 1/3 if I am still pregnant. And yes, I am totally over it ; )

I'm still here...due on Friday. I haven't had a pelvic exam in weeks so I'm really unsure how dilated I am. I just decided to skip the exam for a few weeks since I wasn't seeing much of a point. At week 37, the baby was at a station -1 and about 1-2 cm dilated. This week, however, I'll have an exam done.

We swore she would be here on Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the contractions were getting MUCH more intense, cramping, loose bowels, etc. They were about 9-10 minutes apart for about an hour. Then...they just stopped. Now it's just Braxton Hicks. My mom comes to town on Saturday so I'm okay if LO decides to wait till January to make her debut.

I'm still here. At my appt last week I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced. They said they probably wouldn't see me at my next appt....um, BS! It's tomorrow morning Crying

I'm still waiting too. I thought for sure it was happening last night- I started having strong, mild to moderately painful contractions every 5 mins for a few hours. Each one was 1-2 mins long. I was sent in to L&D for monitoring and they went on from 9pm-3 am and then just stopped. I've been about 90% effaced and 1 cm for several weeks now with no progress on that front last night, which I was kind of bummed about.

They let me go home (said they could induce me since I was there but it was not recommended nor did I really want to have that happen) this AM. I was mainly kept there because the roads are still really bad from the bizzard we had and my doctor didn't want us to have to brave the roads just in case we ended up back in a few hours.

I am right there with you! I'm also so sick of sleeping on my sides, I'm a back sleeper and can't wait to lay on my back again!! Plus I feel like a jet-puffed marshmallow

My doctor is letting me go the full 42 weeks which puts me into the new year. I'm not dilated or anything. Head is down but that's it... please please please let something happen soon!

I'm still here. I'm more of a lurker, but I have a lot of free time to Bump this week, since my company is closed this week, and that began my maternity leave. I am due on Thursday, I saw my doctor this morning and I'm only a finger-tip dilated. Atleast we set our induction date for Monday, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm still hoping baby makes it's appearance before then.

I'm still here, if nothing happens today or tomorrow I will be induced on Thursday. If that doesn't work I have a CS schedule for Friday. One way or another I will have a baby this week!!!

I'm more of a lurker than anything, but I'm still here. My dr. changed my edd to Dec 29 though so I'm beginning to think that I will be having a January baby instead. Unless I go into labor tonight or tomorrow before my appointment, I'm going to have them sweep my membranes and they're scheduling an induction for sometime next week.

I'm still here. I was due yesterday and still no sign of baby. At my 36 week appt, I was 2 1/2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. At my 39 week appt, I was 3 1/2 cm dilated and 60% effaced. The OBs and nurses are all surprised I haven't given birth yet, which only serves to make it MORE frustrating that LO isn't here yet. Thankfully I'm scheduled for induction on Thursday. I think I will lose my mind if the induction doesn't work.
