Is it too late to start temping in middle of cycle?

I went off BCPs in November. As expected, my cycles are all over the place. I started temping/charting/opks the first month off to track what's going on. I did not temp this cycle because we were supposed to be out of town for 2 weeks over the holiday and didn't want to temp while on vacation with the whole family. Trip got cancelled due to everyone being sick and the awful weather. So just recording CM and opks, but of course I can't confirm O without temping. Is it too late to start temping now to confirm O for this cycle? My chart is in my siggy. TIA.

    You can start temping anytime in your cycle. It may not be as conclusive but you can definately start it now.

    I'd start now. It couldn't hurt and you might be able to see the temp drop/shift if you haven't O'd yet. GL!

    Since you already got a + OPK and you ovulate 12 to 48 hours after that (if you ovulate) ... it would be too late to confirm ovulation but you could watch for a dip and then a drop if AF is approaching.  Hopefully it won't!

    I started mid cycle - actually, I thought it was mid cycle, but that cycle ended up lasting 84 days  It may be a moot point if you get pregnant quickly, but you'll be PREGNANT!  If not, at least you're ahead of the game!  GL!

    Thanks for the advice. I'll start temping tomorrow morning and see what happens. Good luck to all.
