Vacation ideas- with 8 month olds?

WE LIVE IN MN- LOOKING TO ESCAPE THE WINTER FOR A FEW DAYS OR A WEEK. OUR TWINS WERE BORN IN JULY. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THE 4 OF US SOMETIME IN MARCH OR SO (SO ~8 MOS OLD). WE USUALLY GO TO MEXICO BUT WITH THE DRUG ISSUES RIGHT NOW DONT THINK WE SHOULD TAKE THE TWINS THERE. ALSO, WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY IN OCTOBER. ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED!

a beach.......west coast maybe (though I've only been east coast beaches).....even if its too cold to swim, walks and sand are always fun.....our LOs have gone to the beach bunches since they were a few months old.........just be careful of the sun

I live in San Diego and I disagree with the PP about coming to the West Coast. It's COLD here at the beach in the spring. DH and I spent the day at the beach on Memorial Day this past year and he was wearing pants and a hoodie because it was F'ing freezing. (I was hugely pregnant and sweating to death! ha!) I am from the East Coast and I would highly recommend Charleston, SC. There is so much to do, the weather is fantastic and you can actually get in the water in March or April.
