Does your LO have any favorite characters?

Alannah has a book starring Cookie Monster that I have always read to her in a Cookie Monster voice. Now whenever she sees his image, she gets very excited and says "rawr rawr rawr". Funny how much she loves him because of the silly voice! How about your LO? Any attachment to a particular character?

Oh yeah...DS loves Mickey Mouse - but doesn't really call him anything yet. He just gets all excited and points at him smiling! He also loves Handy Manny. He calls him "Mammy" which is adorable. Recently he's started to like Elmo - calls him "Melmo".

DS doesn't have a favorite character, but he LOVES dogs. Whenever he sees one in real life or on tv he can't stop saying "Dog, Dog, Dog". He also loves his toy bus because he absolutely loves the song "The Wheels on The Bus".

Not really a character but she has a book of animals, and everytime we get to the polar bear page she laughs. No idea why, I guess polar bears are funny.

DD won't watch tv (she can't sit still for 5 seconds!) but she loves Dora... she calls her "Doot Doot" because of the theme song. She'll get excited if I put it on for her, but she'll lose interest after a minute. My grandparents bought her a Dora couch and that was her favorite gift this year!

She also loves Mickey Mouse now that we introduced her to Dance Star Mickey She calls him "Mimmey"

Dora (and Boots, Tico, Isa, Benny the Bull, the big red chicken, and most of all Swiper), Diego (and the Bobo monkeys LOL), Kai-Lan (and Yeye and Hoho), the Fresh Beat Band, Ming-Ming the duck, and Thomas the Train even though they've never seen the show.

The funny thing is we watch 1, maybe 2, shows a day usually, and they've still managed to pick up all of these minor characters' names better than I have.
