I am 30 weeks today! It has really hit us both hard and we are determined to get the nursery done (painting and furniture at least) by the time of my shower, Jan. 15.
I mentioned this on the nest, but I am truly thankful that my family has pretty much supplied our son with his first year of clothing. They are all in a different range of sizes and will really help out.
Everything is wonderful. Crawling is on the brink, HATES a sippy cup...hates hates hates and refuses it.
Too young to have a favorite gift
My fave gift for LO was all the turtle items or the car seats
I received no lie about 14 scissors for Christmas
What will you do with all those scissors?
I'm going to try to return the one 6 pack (or 7 maybe), the other is from who knows where because it was GMIL and the one pair I actually needed/wanted.
I don't get why someone would give scissors as a gift?
1. Same as Kelley - she's too young for a favorite gift
2. My fave is the Pandora bracelet from my ILs. I never wanted one before, but now that I have one I really like it.
3. Nothing really weird or interesting.
I have to put new pictures on the computer, I am two months behind now. No new updates really. Sydney starts her new daycare on Monday so I'm excited for that. We are working on a sippy cup too, although not as much as I should be. She finally is learning how to drink out of it, rather than just let the formula fall out of it. I plan to work on it a lot this weekend. And her top middle teeth are going to break through any day now.
1. She got so many gifts that I don't think she has a favorite yet. She keeps going from toy to toy.
2. I think it would have to be my coach purses
3. Actually, I didn't get anything too odd this year. Kind of surprising.
LO update - not too much new with her.
PG update - had a doctors appointment, I'm 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. If I have contractions 5 minutes apart for an hour to call them and head on in for a c-section otherwise I've got a c-section scheduled for January 11th.
Annabelle favorite gift this was not all the toys, but the wrapping paper and bows. By the end of the night she had a huge pile of bows. She would walk around pulling off bows on everyone gift. To cute!
My favorite gift would have to be my spafinder gift card and cast iron skillet from DH.
I got several re-gifted gifts (I swear!) My aunt even told me I could re-gift them. Weird.
As of last Friday Annabelle has decided she's a picky eater. At first I thought she was sick, teething, growth spurt but I'm not sure. She usually loves to eat, but lately, all she wants to eat is fruit, cheerios, waffles and drink some milk. But with no fever or pulling on the ears, I'm not really sure that's the problem. Next week she has her 15 month appointment so I figure I just wait and see what the doctor says. I'm really hoping that she goes back to eating normal again.
