So, I'm thinking about switching REs since DH and I have officially moved to Indy. I did some research on my insurance coverage and RE success rates on the SART website. I have a few contenders in mind, but haven't made any calls yet since I have some questions. For those of you that have switched REs, did they make you repeat testing- HSG or other testing for you? SA or other testing for your DH? Did it make any difference how long ago you and DH initially had testing?

When Dh and I switched RE's in June, they did not require us to repeat any tests, but they did have new tests for me to do, a lap/hyst and TONS of b/w.
All the other basic tests for us took place in March-May of 2009.
Maybe the repeat testing depends on the RE you see???
Good luck with the switch hun! Hope you find someone you really like!!!

**PAIF/SAIF Welcome**
We switched REs this year and the only retesting we had to do was b/w and u/s. I had to pay for copies of my med records from my first RE, but now I have them for my own files and I was able to forward those records to the new RE. Also was able to send them any older records from my obgyn and oncologist.
We switched within a year of the initial tests with the first RE.
This!
If we move forward with another fresh, then we will have to redo the SA and HSG. For our FET, we can move forward as long as my day 3's are on track.
TTC since 2008 dx PCOS & MFI

Hi, Illinigal! I just had my first appointment with a new RE last week. He wants to redo pretty much all of our testing (including the HSG and SA) because my HSG was done March 2010 and he uses a different lab than those that have done our SAs. The lab issue is one of the reasons he wants to redo pretty much all of my bloodwork, too. It is a pain, but at least my insurance covers some of the testing. Also, since I am going for a second opinion, I am kind of glad he wants to look at everything before giving it to me.
Good luck!
~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~
Me= 37 and DH = 41

Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN
When I switched REs, they re-did my CD3 b/w and DH's SA. I requested a second HSG, because I wanted the new RE to see it with her own eyes because of my history of surgeries. They also did a saline u/s and endo biopsy which I'd never had before.
I really hope finding a new RE does the trick for you. I think regardless of why you are switching, it's always good to get a second opinion. Thinking of you!!
