We've almost outgrown the size 2 diapers (I swear we just switched to them!) but I was looking at the new box of size 3s we have and it says up to 28lbs. So my LOs may be in the same size for the next 6 months??
My girls have been in them for awhile but one is about 20 lbs and is about to switch to size 4. I can't imagine many babies still wearing size 3 at 28 lbs!
it would have to be a skinny 28lbs.... Grayson is by no means chunky and he's been in size 4 pampers baby dry for EVER it seems.... he's about 23lbs right now - has been in 4s since i can remember...maybe since april?
gibby on the other hand was in size 6 around april he's my chunk.
My boys had to move up to size 4s at 8m, when they were 21 and 19 lbs, respectively. They've always needed to go up a size before they hit the weight limit. That said, 16 months later they are STILL in size 4s!
My 20 month old DD would fit in a size 3 diaper just fine and he's around 24 pounds. He's in the equivalent of a size 3 but he's in cloth. He's tall and skinny though.
Mom to six awesome kids - Levi is 12, Landen is 8, Gabrielle is 6, Lucas is 3, and Oliver and Samuel are 2 years old. Love my crew.

That's what I've heard!! (That they'll be in one size seemingly forever!) It was just hard to imagine we're already approaching that stage!
My girls were in 3's for quite a long time. Neither of them have hit the 20 lb mark yet and they are in 4's now. We needed the extra length since one is in the 90th and the other the 97th percentile on height.
Yeah, it's crazy. We use cloth but our washer broke and we had to use sposies for a couple weeks. I bought size 3s and my twins and DD#1 all wore them (she is 19 months older). Weird!

My youngest daughter has been in a size 3 for about a year or so. She is tall and skinny. Hopefully she will be fully potty trained soon and we will end with this size too!!
My chunky DD blew through the early sizes and was in 4's around 5 months-18/19 pounds. But she stayed in 4's for well over a year as she stretched out.
We use cloth, but MIL puts sposies on DS and he just switched over to a size 4 (which still seems too big in my opinion). My guy is petite and is 18mths and only weighs 21lbs. So yes, that is the longest that we stayed in a size. One of my girls who is 3 1/2 mths is almost ready for a 3-she's chunkier than her sister and DS was at this point!!!
My two are in Size 3 (at almost 16 mos - 23.5 and 19.5 lbs) and have been for 10-11 months. I sometimes will put them in 4's at night, but i have had more issues because of the gap around their legs.
don't worry about the size, just use what fits right.
Re: Size 3 diapers - seriously?
