Is this a tummy ache/gas or just fussy?

What does gas or a tummy ache look like?  LO is sleeping in his bouncer and occasionally starts to fuss a bit and squirm around, arching his back, wiggling his arms, etc.  He's also been spitting up a bit, not a ton, and his last feeding was a little over an hour ago.  I've tried to burp him quite a few times now but nothing will come out.

    DD doesn't seem to get "just fussy".  She gets fussy when she is hungry, needs to be changed, and then when it is harder for us to fix- when she has an upset tummy, is working on pooping, or needs to burp.  It took as awhile to figure out the less obvious issues and what to do about them, if anything.

    I am going through the SAME THING with my son right now. He will get one or two really good burps out sometimes and then be happy. But right now, he's in his stroller and I am pushing him back and forth. It's all I can do to keep him happy at the moment.

    similar issue here too. I tried gripe water and she  did pass some gas and pooped. I spoke to the pedi and she suggested trying Similac sensitive and did approve the gripe water. I usually use breast milk during the day and at night give formula. However, the past few days i have been giving her Formula for every feed because I was taking meds. I dont know if that has anything to do with it but will try out this new milk until i can give breastmilk again... wish me luck.

    Joanna does this sometimes but not always with gas. We had to switch formula's to the sensitive stomach too plus she gets BM. We're doing gas drops with every other feeding now too and it seems to have helped her alot.

    That is exactly what we have been going through and I think it's reflux. I am calling the doctor this morning. Callie does the arching back, wiggling arms and screaming like she is being tortured. :( She was up from 2 pm until 11 pm yesterday with only a few 30 min naps (b/c she kept waking up in pain).

    Ours looked like gas at first but is now clearly reflux. We had one or two days a week like that and it has gradually progressed to us being happy when we have days NOT like that.
