3- I keep a "public" trash can by the toilet for things like tissues and face scrubbies. and a trash can in the cabinet for OPK's, HPT's tampons and pads and the general nasty stuff I don't want people seeing if they come over and I don't have a chance to get rid of the trash.
4- I keep all my daily make up lined up on the counter, and my blow dryer and flat iron. everything else is under the sink or in the medicine cabinet.
ETA: I forgot to answer my own bonus question.
I am a total "trash peeker" If its out next to the toilet I will glance at the top layer. Never digging. I actually found out of a friend was pregnant that way. Oh snap.
I think this is why I am paranoid and keep a "secret" trash can under the sink
1. The tub is stained and ugly looking but I swear it's clean.
2. I always hang my towel up since I use it for multiple days...less laundry!

4. Right now, there's a lot of stuff on my counter(makeup, straightener, blow dryer), but I put it all away when I clean or if company's coming over.
5. Nope, never really thought to "trash peek". Although I might look at whats on top, I would never go digging. Ewww....
1. It definitely needs to be cleaned. Between oral comps/finals and then the holidays, my bathroom has been neglected.
2. Hang it up.
3. Yes, I just empty it if I have company coming.
4. Again, it needs to be cleaned. My makeup bag and hair dryer/flat iron are on it.
Bonus: Not purposely. There have been times I noticed it but I never go looking for it.
1) The shower we use is very clean as I cleaned it earlier this week. The other bathroom is the doggie's shower and since she has had 2 baths and a quick wash in the past week due to mud it is filthy.
2) I only use a towel once, so in a laundry basket.
3) Trash can in each bathroom is out in the open, but not in your face obvious.
4) Lots, mostly DH because he can never remember to put stuff back in the medicine cabinet.
Bonus: No.
How clean is your shower? Clean, DH just cleaned it out real good on Thursday, but I need a new vinyl shower curtain liner for the inside.
Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Hang. We re-use for a couple days.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? The trash is under the sink in a cabinet because I have bad experiences with pets eating tampon apps and pads.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Toothbrush holder, mouthwash, toothpaste, DH's shaving stuff, and lotion.

Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Ugh way too much crap! makeup, flat iron, contact solution/case, toothpaste, vitamins, water glass....I could continue! I put everything away when I clean, but it always is back out within a couple of days.
Bonus question: Do you trash peek at other peoples houses? LOL I do look at the stuff on top, but don't dig. Although I do occasionally look in people's cabinets haha
Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Hang up, every time! We only wash our towels on the weekend, so we take good care of them during the week.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? Yep, but only into the master bathroom, which no one ever sees. Also it gets emptied every Wednesday
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? In the master bathroom-yes, all of our tooth care products and q-tips (we have a holder for them). In the hall bathroom it's just soap.

How clean is your shower? They need to be cleaned this week, not gross or anything, but in need of a cleaning.
Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Definitely hang it.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? We have trash cans in each bathroom and since no one goes in the master bath but us, I throw anything in there. They all get emptied pretty often.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Yes - hair products, face wash & lotion, toothbrushes & DH's shaving stuff.

Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? Yes, but it's a trashcan with a flip lid, so you can't see stuff after it's been thrown away.

1- The guest bathroom shower is immaculate because no one has showered in there for a few months and I cleaned it after... Our shower could be cleaner, mostly my hair that gets all over the place (DH HATES that.)
2- I hang my towel every time.. DH throws his wherever he ditches it and I usually hang it after he leaves for work (It's 4am when he's doing this so I don't get on his case about it.)
3- I have one trashcan in both bathrooms, but nothing besides tissues goes in the guest bathroom trash can which is in a cabinet because I don't use it often. Upstairs our trash can is also in a cabinet and no one besides DH and I uses it.
4- Guest bath counter has soap, lotion a santa votive candle holder and a candle warmer at the moment.. I wish our bathroom counter was as clutter free.. It has a vanity where all of my hair tools and makeup stay (I try to keep it all in the drawer but it's more convenient right there, ya know?) DH and I both have a medicine cabinet but all of his deodorant, cologne, trimmer and currently cold medicines are also on the counter top.

Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? Umm... I guess, yeah. But DH and I use separate bathrooms, and mine isn't the guest bathroom. DH's is. We only keep stuff like cotton swabs and tooth brushes in our (the master) bathroom, so he does throw out Kleenex and Q-tips and stuff in my trash, but he's the only one. So not sure if that counts as "public" or not.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Yes. We're in an apartment, so we don't have a lot of cabinet space. The products we use daily are mostly on the counter.

Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Hrmm... it depends on if there is already stuff in the floor or not.
I try to keep things clean if they are already clean but I'm more lax if it's already messy.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? Um, yes? If it is something gross I wrap it very, very good.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Sure. We have cute little things that hold the q-tips and cotton balls. Also, the thing that holds the toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's a master bath, so that stuff is fine out in the open, IMO.

How clean is your shower? Clean enough I feel comfortable sitting down in it to shave my legs.
Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Me: hang. DH: floor or laid conveniently on my side of the bed. Grrrrr.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? No. I have a step can with a lid for feminine items and a regular one for anything else. My dogs are pad fiends. Vom.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Yes, we have limited cabinet space so all my hair care stuff is on the counter as well as all our perfume/cologne.

How clean is your shower? It is fairly clean- not sparkling, but I clean it about every other week or so. I also always clean the hair out of the drain after I shower. We do need a new curtain liner though- ours has seen better days, plus the cats like to play on either side of it so it has a few kitty claw tears.
Do you hang your towel or throw it on the floor? Both DH and I hang our towels. We reuse them, typically for the week, and he is super anal about his not smelling like mildew.
Do you throw everything in a "public" trash can? I honestly didn't realize that people may keep two trashcans until you posted this lol! We only have one trashcan in the bathroom, next to the toilet.
Do you have things on the counter besides soap? Toothpaste, toothbrush holder with toothbrushes, DH's electric razor... sometimes a few other things get left out like jewelry cleaner, deoderant, or something like that. But in general I try to keep it limited to the essentials.
