Does anyone else do this?

in 2nd Trimester

I have a checkup wtih my OB in the am and I'm starting to feel a little anxious.  I don't know why I do this before my appointments but I always do.  I get caught up in hoping my bp is good and that the urine test will be ok with no protein.  On top of all the normal worries they are doing the sugar test tomorrow.  Am I the only crazy one out there that does this?  Embarrassed

    i do it too.  i've only had 2 appointments, one of which was today.  but everything was good.  hopefully urine test will be too.  i've felt anxious in the last month in between appointments.  but just try not to stress!

    Your not alone, I do this with every appt!  Thinking the worse for some weird reason!

    before i could feel her moving i was always nervous at the monthly appointments, certain that she would have no heartbeat.  it's gotten slightly better now that i know she's still ok in there.  i don't think we'll ever stop worrying.

    I start crying one hour before each appointment, and don't really stop until we leave. I generally freak out the other mothers in the waiting room, which is why they get me into an office pretty quickly.

    yes. :( i hate it but don't know what to do to control my anxiety! my bp is always crazy high there but i check it daily at work and it's totally fine. so i know i don't have problems but it freaks me out. i did change docs tho so maybe that will help

    I do, but it is because I stress about my weight.  I gained six pounds the last two visits and my doctor always makes me feel horrible!

    I always do too!!! And I always feel nervous about telling people I'm preggers right before an appt, like it's going to jinx me! I am a teacher and plan on telling my 2nd graders right after break (I'll be almost 19 weeks) but I think I will wait until after my appt. on the 4th!!
