What has your doctor/clinic told you is an ideal beta?

    They haven't told me a specific number, but they said they want to see a rise of at least 66%.

    I think I'm in the minority here, but my clinic doesn't give the number. Just says if it is good or not. This used to really bother me, but now I'm happy about it. Gives me less to analyze:). When I asked RE once, he said it's his job to get me ku and analyze the #s, monitoring, etc. and my job to stay relaxed, eating healthy, etc. I liked his answer:)

    My drs office told me this am that for your first beta they "like" to see a beta of 50.

    They never talked about numbers, until they came in.  If you are looking for info on betas, www.betabase.info is a good resource.  GL!!!

    IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
    FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
    twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest

    I know our clinic wants to see a number over 25 to start. After that they want to see it double in 48 hours.

    mine want to see a beta over between 30-50. then double within 48 hrs.

    i was told anything over 100.
    TTC since July 2009.
    MFI, Moving onto IVF-ICSI.
    IVF #1 = BFP - sadly a blighted ovum discovered at 7 wks.
    D+C 12/7/10.
    IVF#2 - ER 3/27. 8 fertilized. ET 4/1; transferred 2 blasts; 2 frosties (total of 3 now)
    Beta #1, 4/11 = 291! Beta#2, 4/18 = 2702. Beta #3, 4/25 = 17303.
    Ultrasound #1, 4/29 = 1 perfect baby and heartbeat!.
    7/21 = a/s! It's a boy!!
    Robert Lawrence was born on December 1st at 4:32 am weighing 6lb 3oz, 19.5 inches long and healthy as anything!!
