Re: Awful break outs
Proactive worked for me. If I had a breakout I would really get after it with the scrub on just that one spot instead of my entire face since I have dry skin.
Acne can be so individual. Make sure you change your pillow cases often and try not to touch it. Good luck
It took me a long time to find something that worked with my skin, and once I did, I had to change it all over again because I switched my pill prescription. Then when I went off of BCP I had to start using different products again.
Currently I'm using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cleanser & alternate that and the scrub from the same line. I spot treat with a salicylic acid spot treatment and use an oil free moisturizer. Every few days I'll use a salicylic acid treatment pad (both Neutrogena & Clearasil make them, they come in a little jar) or will use it if the problem is too much to spot treat, and I use an extracting mask followed by a biore pore strip twice a week. I don't wear foundation, but if I did on a daily basis I'd break out more.
My skin's far from perfect, but it's in much better condition than it was when I was still trying to find the regimen for me.

After trying everything possible from cheap to very exprensive, even prescription, I chalked it up to hormones and sense there is nothing I could do about that I just cover it up now. On the plus side, I had beautiful skin when I was pregnant
