Trying to Get Pregnant

Can I get a chart stalk? (WTF, FF?)

This is my first charting cycle (where I've temped and kept track of CM), so I apologize if this is a dumb question.  I had three consecutive higher temps and today FF marked me as 3 dpo.  But it doesn't match up with what I've seen in previous cycles or my CM this cycle.  I usually have 32 day cycles, so I didn't expect to O until the end of this week or early next week.  I haven't seen EWCM yet either.  My OPK was negative yesterday, but I only POAS once (thinking that I was early and way ahead of the LH surge).

Would you mind taking a look at my chart and telling me what you think?  I really don't think I O'ed yet, but hell, anything's possible, I guess.  If I didn't O and my temps change this week, will FF adjust the CH?

Thanks, Ladies!

  • Was there any reason your temps could be so high? Were you drinking the nights before or something? Did you sleep with an electric blanket, etc.?  Otherwise I would just stick with it because FF will probably move your CH's if your temps stay elevated or drop off again. Keep checking CM and using OPK's because chances are when you do see EWCM and you get a +OPK your CH's will move

  • my guess is that your CHs will change once you enter more temps, CM and OPKs.

  • Yes FF will move your CHs if it thinks you O'ed on a different date. Have you used the OPK optimizer to see when you should start using them?

No, I didn't drink or sleep with an electric blanket, and I can't think of any reason why the temps were higher these past few days.  I even temped after both a solid block of sleep and at around the same time every morning, something that I was finding to be difficult.  Thanks for taking a look!  I'll keep monitoring my CM and OPKs.

Agreed. I usually have around a 32-35 day cycle and my temps are all over the place until about CD12, so I don't even start temping until CD12 because they're nutso. My guess is that it will take CHs away once you enter more data.

No, I've been going by changes in my CM and the chart someone linked me to on peeonastick.com.  I POAS yesterday after noticing that my CM had changed.

I agree.  It's possible you did O, but if you usually get good CM, it's more likely that you haven't yet.  Keep entering data and wait it out (and having sex, of course!) - FF will adjust if needed.

  • Thank you, Ladies.  I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully my chart will look a bit more clear over the next week.

  • I had the exact same thing happen to me!!! I O'd on CD 20 last cycle and it says I o'd already but i was drinking one of the nights as well as beginning a cold. Im in the same boat. I am hoping my CH's change after some more temps.
