BBT Thermometer sucks!

I have been using the Walgreen's pink BBT. It has been giving me a lot of the same temps. I usually just go with the first one temp I take, but now I have been taking the 2nd or 3rd. It will jump a whole .5 degrees in between temps right after each other. This is getting ridiculous. I'm hoping my chart is accurate enough to get CH's, as this is my first month temping. I think I will wait to start with a new thermometer until next cycle. Do not buy Walgreen's BBT! Any recommendations for a new one?

    I was using a BD Digital that I bought on Amazon and I really liked it, except that it beeped a lot and drove DH crazy. I just bought a CVS BBT and it seems great so far.

    Just don't switch mid cycle. Wait until you have a new cycle start to make your thermometer switch.

    I actually really love my walgreens bbt. Its pretty normal to get flat temps. I mean not like 10 of them. but 2 or 3 are fine. 

     

    Don't change your therm till next cycle.

    Ok thanks ladies. I won't switch yet. I'm just getting frustrated because I was really excited to temp this month and I feel like it may not be accurate.

    I have a Target one and I get a lot of the same temps, too.  I'm going to guess that most of them do that to some extent.  I haven't heard of any BBT where everyone said it was great and so I'm just sticking with the one I have for now.

    That is a lot of flat temps.

    Just keep temping, my body or therm has some "favorite" temps. It does get annoying

    I used a Walgreens BBT when I charted for DS2.  Obviously, it worked well :) 

    I had used it orally, and sent it to a friend when she was ttgp, she just gave birth this past Wednesday.  So, it worked for her :) 

    I haven't had her send it back, and have used an oral thermometer that came in a baby kit that I got for DS2.  That's worked well (as I got a BFP while using it, already). 

    I only temp once, in the morning.  Temping multiple times can just be confusing and cause more stress.

    Thanks for the input. I try to not temp multiple times, but I seriously am getting the same exact temps over and over. Ugh. I guess Walgreen's BBT works for some. Maybe it is user error...

    i bought mine at walmart and have had no problems with it. It seems to be accurate and i rarely have the same temps so i recommend it!
