Oh that is SO cute! Now I'm torn...I was planning on doing a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme for their birthday (it's their favorite book) but I might have to go with pirates after all.
Very Hungry Caterpillar sounds so cute! I am torn between a full-on bumblebee theme or going more with "bugs in the garden" so I can also use lady bugs, caterpillars, butterflies, etc. I am leaning towards the latter so there's more than just yellow-black-white going on...that said, I found this blog post and it's really cute! But generally the yellow-black-white thing seems to be done for boys:
that cake is very cute, but I have seen lots of cute hungry caterpillar themes too. Maybe you should save the pirate them for a future birthday, it will always be timely.
MrsNJSwimmer:
We got this for LB for Christmas, and it's been a HUGE hit so far - I keep thinking of your boys when he plays with this!
I saw that at the store, very cute and thanks for the review.
Funny, pirate stuff always makes me think of Lisa's boys too! Pirates of the Carribean is a cake/party option at Disneyland but I think we will do traditional Mickey.
Lori, I think that second link is adorable! It seems to use more white and yellow than black and yellow - between that and the daisies, it looks fairly girly. But I think a general bug theme would be super cute too! Jaime did a butterfly theme for Little Miss A - she might have some ideas to contribute?
OMG that Mega Bloks pirate ship is way too cute! I may need it...I've added it to my Amazon wish list for the boys.
