Wish me luck on my first day alone with Isabelle! It will just us until 7:30 tonight. First day back is a long one. I already miss how helpful he was for the past two weeks. EEK.

I remember begging Shane to take more time off. He couldn't and I was scared to death. Looking back it was such a peaceful day. Good luck! You'll do just fine.?

Awwhhh... you can do it! I felt very empowered when DH went back to work, like I was SuperMommy. I felt as though I could do just about anything after that.

The first day for me was overwhelming but after that I loved my time alone with the baby. Enjoy your special mommy-baby bonding time.

Our first day alone was crazy, I went out with B ALL by myself and we went to Nordstrom and BabiesRus for things for mommy... :-) I was so tired afterward I slept the next 2 days... with DS by my side and didn't leave the house again until two weeks later unless forced too... lol... Paradise
