Re: Seventh Generation Diapers

  • I really didn't like them, I also think they kind of run small.

  • We started using these at Size 1 with our DS.  The newborn ones are notorious for leaking.  We like them.  DS rarely leaks in these and he STTN (8-10 hours).  The only time he leaks is if he has a runny poop and even then it is just a little.  They do tend to run small.  He is still in the size 1 at 12lbs but once this package is done we are going to move him up to size 2.  Also, my SIL used and uses them for all 3 of her kids and likes them too.  She has a 2 1/2 year old and twin 8 month old girls.

  • I used them until DD was about 6wks old. they fit her great, but when she STTN for 9+ hours they leak. In their defense they were FULL with urine. We use huggies pure and natural now and are really happy with them. I think seventh generation diapers are in the top 3 if eco-friendly is what you are looking for, along w/ huggies pure and natural and earths best. Yes

  • I use them and I like them a lot. They must run small, becuase my 11 week old is in a size 3 (he is huge though). I tried huggies/pampers in the hospital. I absolutley hated how they occasionally left little gel specks all over his little bottom. I'll stick with 7th Generation forever.

  • We've used them since birth and like them a lot. The Pampers gave him diaper rash and the Huggies we tried leaked like a sieve. I had planned to cloth diaper, but with EPing I just don't have the energy for the laundry. This is my earth-friendly compromise until we switch to cloth.

  • We use them. As others have said, the do run a little smaller...but you just go up to the next size.  We used Pampers from the hospital and got free huggies. I noticed DD got minor rashes (esp w/ the pampers swaddlers that had drymax).  No problems like that with the 7th Gen.  She had a few blowouts with the huggies, but not with the 7th Gen.  I guess it all depends on the child and so you won't really know till you try them.  There are good reviews of them on Amazon.
