I need sewing help!

My kit for this scarf came today:

It's velveteen and voile (mmmm...) - would you prewash the fabrics or no?

  • Yes, but on cold/delicate cycle and hang to dry.  I'd only do it because of the chemicals that can be left on the fabrics.
  • Loading the player...
  • I never prewash kit fabrics b/c they're usually cut for just what you'll need, and if you have any fraying or shrinking, you won't have enough.

    You can always wash it once it's finished.
